What information about me does Securus collect and how is it used?
In order to provide Services, Securus may collect information from you as described below. Securus only collects personal information about you if you voluntarily choose to share it with Securus. Securus does not sell or disclose information concerning our customers to third parties in ways other than disclosed in this privacy statement. “Personal Information” includes personal identifying information such as name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, medical information and payment card information.
When you visit our websites, unless you voluntarily disclose Personal Information, Securus does not collect or store any personally identifiable information about you. However, Securus does collect and store certain data about the use of Securus' website. This is done on an anonymous basis, and the same information is collected for all hits on Securus' servers. If you place an order at our website or you activate Services at our website, Securus will request and collect Personal Information. This information is used to fill your order or process your request Services activation, as the case may be.
When you purchase Services at our websites, a “cookie” will be stored on your computer. Further, Securus, its contractors and other third parties that help Securus provide the Services or its websites may use “cookies” to improve visitors’ experience at the websites. Cookies are small text files that help Securus keep track of your shopping cart as you move through our store, and they only contain the necessary information to associate a shipping identification on your computer with the orders in the "shopping cart" table on Securus' server. A customer’s Personal Information will be retained for as long as the customer receives the Services and for any period during which there is a dispute between the customer and Securus. Tracking Information will be retained for each customer for a period that Securus will decide in its sole discretion.
Except as specified above, Securus will only share your Personal Information with third parties if:
a) Securus has your consent
b) Securus determines that it is must do so in order to comply with applicable laws, regulations or subpoena
c) Securus determines it would be appropriate to do so only in order to assist or support a third party's theft investigation involving Securus' locator devices or a third party's theft prevention efforts relating to Securus' locator devices
d) Securus finds that you are in breach of its terms and conditions or any of its policies or usage guidelines for specific products or services
e) it is necessary in Securus' opinion to do so to prevent, investigate, detect or prosecute criminal offenses or attacks on the technical integrity of Securus' site(s) or its network

Does Securus offer opt-out or opt-in services?
When registering a Securus product on the website or activating the Services, you may receive emails from Securus regarding updates on only the products you are registering. You may initially opt-out of receiving these emails during the product registration or activation process. Securus may also send you special promotions and other programs of interest via email. If you choose to stop receiving these emails in the future, please follow the unsubscribe instructions within each email communication or send an email to Support@SecurusGPS.com. Securus will not provide or share any mailing lists or other information about you to another company or service for promotional purposes. Any Services related emails (to confirm a purchase, etc.) generally do not offer an unsubscribe option, as they are necessary to provide the service you requested.
What does Securus do to protect the data I transmit to Securus' websites or through the use of Services?
Securus takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

Securus recommends that you enable these browser functions to help ensure that your communications are secure. How can I correct or change previously submitted information?

How Can I access information obtained by Securus?
A customer may obtain a copy of the Personal Information and the information collected from Securus' websites that Securus has regarding that customer by emailing a request for a copy of that information to Support@SecurusGPS.com or by sending a letter to Securus, Inc. 114-200 Mackenan Drive, Cary, North Carolina, 27511. Securus will make a good faith effort to mail the information to the customer at the address previously provided by the customer if Securus is provided sufficient information to allow it to confirm the identity of the person making the request.
Is Securus responsible for all of the material I see on Securus' websites?
Securus maintains responsibility for and authority over all information contained on its websites. However, Securus may post links to sites that Securus does not control. Securus is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these sites.
What is Securus' policy regarding children's use of Securus' websites?
While Securus welcomes everyone to visit its web site and learn about the company and its products and applications, Securus has no desire to collect information from those under the age of 18. Any instance of Personal Information about a minor being collected would be purely accidental and unintentional.
