Furthermore,
if your dog strays outside the SafeSpots you have set, you will receive a
text or email message, or both if you prefer, letting you know the
current location of your dog.

professional, dedicated AKC CAR Recovery Specialists are available free
of charge 24/7/365 to assist you in finding your lost pet. The second
you receive an alert that your dog has left a SafeSpot, feel free to

with you as long as you need them, providing turn-by-turn directions to
help you locate your lost pet. Rest assured, we can stay with you until
your dog is found, no matter what time of the day or night and no matter
how long it takes.
If Someone Finds Your Lost Dog
Both SpotLight and SpotLite come with a unique “Rescue” button. If someone finds your
lost dog, all he or she has to do is press the “Rescue” button and an
emergency message with your dog’s location will be sent to you and the
SpotLight recovery team, giving you immediate peace of mind. Once you
receive the message, you can locate your pet on your own, or call us
toll-free at 1.888.DOG.LOC8 and one of our Recovery Specialists will
stay on the line with you as long as necessary providing turn-by-turn
directions until your pet is found, no matter the time of day or night
and no matter how long it takes.
